Welcome to S.P.I.R.I.T. (Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Institute of Texas) Membership

S.P.I.R.I.T. is a private membership club, not a commercial property, and not open to the general public. Our members-only club is located at Yorktown Memorial Hospital, a historic site we work to preserve, protect, and study.

Membership in S.P.I.R.I.T. gives individuals and families the opportunity to explore the hospital’s rich history, document its stories, and participate in scientific paranormal research in a safe and controlled environment.

How Membership Works:

• Access: Only card-carrying members in good standing may enter the property. 
• How to Join: A daily membership fee is included in every booking. To be a member, simply select YES when prompted to join S.P.I.R.I.T. when making your booking to visit Yorktown Memorial Hospital. 
• Waiver Required: All members and guests are required to sign a waiver before entering the building, and follow hospital Rules & Regulations. 
• Daily Membership: $5 per person for a single day visit. Daily members do not have voting rights. A daily membership fee is included in every booking.
• Annual Membership: $50, covering a team or family of up to five (5) people. Annual members have voting rights in club matters. Click below to join Annual Membership. 

S.P.I.R.I.T. is dedicated to historical preservation, ethical research, and providing a structured environment for members to engage with one of Texas’s most intriguing historic sites. Membership approvals are handled directly by the Membership Committee or its designees, with no Board vote required.
