All bookings must be reserved in advanced online using our booking system, Peek, at yorktownmemorialhospital.com or curioustwins.com. If you are having trouble or have questions about how to make a booking, call or text us at 210-802 9187. 

Yes. A digitally signed liability waiver is REQUIRED for every person in your group to finalize your booking. A url link to the waiver will be sent in your initial booking confirmation email. Please bring a printed or digital copy of your group’s signed waivers to present at check in. Anybody who has not completed a waiver is required to sign one on-site before entering Yorktown Memorial Hospital. Waivers release Curious Twins Tours & Events, Yorktown Memorial Hospital as well as affiliated owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers from liability.

Every experience is different, and ranges depending on the length and what your booking entails. Daytime tours start at $35 per person. You can rent the hospital overnight  from 8pm-8am: Prices range from $650 - $750. Check each booking link for individual pricing. 

Yes. For your safety, certain entryways are blocked off by grates. Do not cross these barricades to enter these off-limits areas under any circumstances. Although these areas are inaccessible, you can still see into them from outside of the barricades. 

Access to the roof is not allowed. 

Access to the basement is not promised as it may be restricted depending on weather. 

No. This is a remote property with no electricity or plumbing. The Texan, a 24-hour gas station with restrooms, is conveniently located a 5-minute walk away.

While we cannot tell you exactly what to bring with you as all guest needs vary, the following items may be helpful to you:

• Portable chargers
• Flashlights
• Cameras, phones, and audio recording devices
• Your own paranormal research equipment
• Water and snacks (please consume these outside the hospital only)
• Bug repellent (needed year-round). Bug repellents that repel against fleas, ticks, and mosquitos are suggested. 
• Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, or boots. 

Yes, but not inside. While you can bring your own food and beverage, anything that you bring should be consumed outside of the hospital. Absolutely no food or beverage is allowed inside the hospital.

No. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed on site. 

It is a good idea to wear comfortable weather-appropriate attire. Keep in mind that there is no functioning electricity inside the hospital. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS ARE ALLOWED TO BE WORN INSIDE THE HOSPITAL (This is dangerous and not allowed). 

During investigations where you have the hospital to yourself, at least one person from your group must remain on-site at all times. This means the property should never be left unattended. If your group plans to leave before your scheduled time, you must notify the hospital caretaker and wait for them to arrive before departing. Leaving without the caretaker present will result in the forfeiture of your $200 security deposit (for overnight bookings).

Children under 10 years old are not allowed inside the hospital. Children ages 10+ can visit the hospital under the supervision of an adult. Please note that minors require an adult to sign a liability waiver on their behalf. 

There are two hotels along Main Street within minutes from Yorktown Memorial Hospital: Yorktown Inn and Suites and Southern Inn & Suites. Additional lodging options (with expanded accommodations) can be found in Cuero, Texas, approximately 20 minutes away from Yorktown, Texas.
